13th June 2016: Another great event.

Once again the organisers of the DMack Tyres Carlisle Stages want to thank all the competitors, officials, marshals and spectators who made this years event the undoubted success it was. The weather on the day was a little damp, but not enough to make the conditions difficult. One hundred and eleven cars started the event at just after 8am on Saturday morning, to tackle 5 superb special stages in the forests of the Borders of Scotland. The day was marred a little by the unfortunate car fire at the end of SS3, which meant a small delay for the remaining competing cars.

The deserved winners, Desi Henry and Liam Moynihan, rolled across the finish line in the late afternoon.

Entries Building for 2016 DMACK tyres Carlisle Stages

With just over a month to go until the 2016 DMACK Carlisle Stages (Saturday 11 June), the first 40 entries are already in and the organisers are expecting a run of entries after this weekend’s Plains Rally.
